I have really enjoyed being back in the kitchen more since the start of the new year. When we travel a lot, we do as I think most people do, shop for convenience and speed. I hadn’t been making nearly as many things from scratch. I’ve really enjoyed having homemade nut milks among other things on hand.
One of my favorite things to make with homemade milk is chia pudding. It makes a delicious and filling breakfast.
Another thing I’ve done to help myself have more time in the kitchen is on occasion I get some of my groceries delivered. I still buy almost all of my staples at Aldi, but this really helps me to cut down on running to 3 different grocery stores, which can take up most of 1 weekend day, when you don’t have a car. What grocery delivery service do I use? Artizone! I love them. They are only available in the Chicago and Dallas area. They use mostly local stores, butchers, and fish markets. One of my favorite things to get is a 1/4 loaf of the Belgian country bread(do not be fooled, 1/4 loaf of their bread is about a full loaf from anywhere else) from Hendrickx bakery. It’s insanely delicious and toasts up better than any other bread I’ve had. My weekend breakfast consisted of fried eggs on Hendrickx toast. This is not a sponsored post, but if you are interested in grocery delivery from Artizone, you can use this referral code to get a discounted first delivery:

Never have I ever been a lover of turkey. But, I am a lover of a good deal. At the grocery store the other day, they were having a sale on whole turkey breasts. A sale so good, I could not pass it up. Well, I am glad I didn’t. I made the best turkey I have ever eaten in my life. I rinsed the breast, patted dry, then lightly covered the breast in homemade mayo. Then I loaded that baby up with salt, pepper, and a very healthy dose of rosemary. I baked(covered) at 325F until my meat thermometer reached 165f then I took it out and let rest for 15 minutes before carving. We had sides of steamed green beans and mashed cauliflower. I’ve been eating the leftovers all week and can’t get enough of it.
