I told you I’d be back with my goals.
I’ve done month long detoxes, 3 day diets, and all sorts of other plans. Some stuck for longer than others, but none of them lasted.
So what is my plan for this year? Moderation. I’m following a healthy eating plan that allows treats. I even stayed within my parameters last night when we went out to eat and had cocktails. It was great. I was in control. So what am I doing today? Dialing it back a little. I’m a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan and today is the Rose Bowl. I could be at a bar with an all I can drink special and a buffet of unhealthy foods. I’m not. I’m watching the game from home, confit ably in my pajamas andtreating myself to a little good charcuterie, lots of water, fruit and vegetables. And I’m happy with that…I’m in my pajamas. GO HAWKS!
Besides eating healthy, I want my working out to be more consistent. I got derailed a little at the end of last year. My goal is to make sure I get in 3 workouts a week. Ideally it would be five times a week, but I know that’s not realistic every week.
So here I am, ready to begin another year, loaded with moderation.
